About Me

Dr. Jay Deb is a seasoned executive recognized for developing an institution of higher education and offering American Higher Education to the population in developing countries. He is Vice President & COO, American Heritage University of Southern California, Ontario, California. He is also associated with the University of Phoenix and Argosy University as Adjunct Faculty teaching quantitative analysis, research techniques, project management and strategic planning. He has proven track records of managing programs related to R & D, technology development and quality management in biotechnology, food and biomedical technology industry. His strengths include strategic management, program management, process development, TQM, and team building for success. He was an executive at Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Company and was responsible for R&D, Quality Management and compliance for worldwide. He had also provided consulting support to Fortune 500 Companies such as Pepsi Cola, Quaker Oats, and Heinz Company.

He has a Ph.D. in Food Technology from the Union Institute & University, Ohio; MBA (Business Administration) from Pepperdine University, California; MS (Industrial Engineering) from Western Michigan University, Michigan and M. Tech (Food Technology & Biochemical Engineering) from Jadavpur University, India.  He has also attended MIT and Caltech to take courses for complementing doctoral work. He is co-inventor of Micro-Barrier technology and has a number of patents on biomedical device. He is one of the members of the executive management team of Aura Systems Technologies (AST), a consulting company specializing in research related to biotechnology, biomedical device, and higher education management.
