Documents required for your admissions folder at the University

The following required admission documents serve as a checklist is to be used by applicants who are applying to AHUSC. While you are completing an application online, you will find a checklist as a guide to complete your application. All applications are considered “Pending” until reviewed by one of our admission representatives. Incomplete applications will delay the processing of your application. Be sure to check our academic calendar for starting dates, deadlines, and more.

Completed Application Form

A completed application must be on file. Our convenient online application tool only takes 10 minutes to complete. Be sure to pay the $50 processing fee (Non-refundable)

Welcome Letters

Once you have submitted your application, an admissions representative will acknowledge receipt of your application by phone or email within two business days.

Resume

As an undergraduate business student, it is helpful to have professional experience at the time of application. As a graduate business student, it is vital. Please submit a professional resume that outlines professional experience. It should list the position held, the name of the company, and the dates employed. A brief job description should also be included so that an understanding of what responsibilities held can be made. If applicants do not have a resume already created, applicants may use the resume template found on AHUSC’s website.

Official Academic Transcripts

Applicants must request an original transcript from every U.S. post-secondary institution attended to be sent to AHUSC Office of Admissions. Scanned or photocopies of the original are not considered original. The applicant may request the original transcript to be returned. Prior college and university transfer courses and/or degrees must be earned at an institution accredited by an accrediting association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or a foreign institution.

Photo Identification

Provide a digital copy of a current government-issued photo ID. All students are required to submit documentation of a current government-issued photo ID. (State-issued Driver’s License or ID)

Acceptable forms of identification can be:

  • U.S. passport
  • Permanent resident card
  • Driver’s licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Foreign government-issued passport / identity cards or National identity cards / Driver’s license

Signed School Performance Fact Sheet (SPFS)

As a prospective student, you are encouraged to review the School Performance Fact Sheet that includes student achievement data, which must be provided prior to signing an enrollment agreement. Applicants must sign and date the first page and initial the rest of the pages of the School Performance Fact Sheet. It will be included in your admissions folder.

Signed Enrollment Agreement & Pay Fees

AHUSC will issue an Enrollment Agreement which can be signed electronically. It highlights important information, disclosures, program details, cost of attendance, and more. Payment is due upon signing and accepting the Enrollment Agreement.

Admission Requirements

Graduate Diploma Requirements:

– Open to students 18 years and over at course commencement

– If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each band and 6.0 in speaking.

– All applicants are interviewed as part of the admissions process.

– Applicants not meeting the entry criteria may be considered on a case by case basis by the Academic Director. Consideration will be given to those with appropriate and evidenced previous academic history, prior work experience and life skills experience.
